Letter Study
In Februrary 2021, all eight North West London Central Commissioning Groups fell below the England average for vaccination. To improve their vaccination rate, we designed two behavioural science informed letters, assessing whether these could increase first dose uptake in those who were previously uncontactable by phone
There was a 32% increase in vaccination rate for those who received the Behavioural science informed letters vs. those who did not.
This equates to around 436 patients who took up their first dose, after not having previously taken up an offer for two to six months after being eligible (at the time the first batch of letters were sent, 25/05/21)
